ICON Streamer is committed to keeping children safe. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any conduct that sexualizes or endangers a minor. This document describes our standards, the safeguards we operate, and how anyone can report a concern to us or to the authorities.
Our Commitment
We comply with all applicable laws governing the reporting and handling of CSAE, including U.S. federal reporting obligations under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and we cooperate with equivalent regulators and law-enforcement bodies in the jurisdictions where our users reside. Where we identify apparent CSAM, we preserve the relevant evidence, remove the content, terminate the responsible account, and report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
Scope
These standards apply to every surface of the ICON Streamer service, including Live Rooms, communities, group chats, 1-on-1 video, hosted courses, podcast-style rooms, user profiles, direct messages, and any media uploaded to the platform.
Prohibited Conduct
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, generated/synthetic media, links, or descriptions.
- Sexualization of minors, including suggestive depictions.
- Grooming behavior — building trust with a minor to facilitate future abuse, sexual contact, or off-platform meetings.
- Sextortion — threatening or coercing a minor with the release of intimate content.
- Trafficking, recruitment, or facilitation of the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Sharing identifying or contact information of a minor for the purpose of sexual contact or exploitation.
- Soliciting, offering, or promoting any of the above, including links to off-platform locations where such material is hosted.
Minimum Age
ICON Streamer is not directed to children. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service. Accounts identified as belonging to users under the minimum age are terminated.
We may request age verification or additional information where necessary to investigate potential child-safety violations, including when an account is reported as belonging to a minor or when content on an account suggests the user is under the minimum age.
Prevention and Detection
- Age gating during sign-up, with account termination when a user is credibly reported or found to be under the minimum age.
- Human review of user reports concerning child-safety violations.
- Immediate suspension of accounts on credible reports of CSAE while review is in progress.
- Removal of violating content, permanent ban of the responsible accounts, and device/identifier-based prevention of re-registration where possible.
- Preservation of evidence (account data, content, and metadata) sufficient to support law-enforcement and regulator requests.
Enforcement Actions
When we identify a violation of these standards, ICON Streamer may remove content, suspend accounts, permanently ban users, preserve evidence, and report violations to law enforcement and relevant child-protection organizations. Enforcement is applied consistently across the platform, and confirmed CSAE violations result in permanent removal with no appeal.
Reporting to Us
Anyone — user, parent, guardian, or third party — can report suspected CSAE on ICON Streamer:
- Email: admin@iconstreamer.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report". Please include URLs, usernames, screenshots, and the date/time of the content where possible.
- In-app: use the report option available on a user profile, message, room, or piece of content. Reports tagged as child-safety are routed to priority review.
Reports involving child safety are prioritized and reviewed as quickly as possible by our trained moderation team. We do not retaliate against good-faith reporters and we treat the identity of reporters as confidential to the extent permitted by law.
Reporting to Authorities
When we identify apparent CSAM, we report the content and supporting information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org), as required for U.S.-based services. In other jurisdictions we cooperate with the equivalent reporting bodies, including the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the INHOPE network of national hotlines. We comply with valid legal process from law enforcement investigating child-exploitation offenses.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then report to us so we can preserve relevant evidence.
Compliance Contact
ICON Streamer's designated point of contact for child-safety escalations, regulator inquiries, and law-enforcement requests relating to CSAE is admin@iconstreamer.com.
Updates
We review these standards regularly and update them as our product, our user base, and applicable law evolve. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
